About the Role

The Global SG&A Finance Business Partner is a senior finance leadership role accountable for end-to-end Automotive SG&A cost performance across the organization. Serving as a trusted advisor to the Automotive Leadership Team and global functional / corporate leaders, this role provides financial discipline, strategic insight, and benchmark-driven cost management to enable informed decision-making and drive sustainable SG&A performance globally.

The role leads a team of approximately 8–10 professionals responsible for all aspect of SG&A controlling, planning, forecasting, and compliance activities, ensuring efficient, effective, and scalable financial operations.

What You Will Do

  • Act as the primary finance business partner for global SGA, supporting senior leadership with insights, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Provide forward-looking insight-driven financial guidance and recommendations to support strategic, operational, and investment decisions.
  • Act as a trusted sparring partner and coach to business leaders, guiding cost structures and spending patterns to improve efficiency and value. Influence and enable business decisions to ensure alignment with financial objectives and long-term strategy.
  • Support enterprise-wide transformation and productivity initiatives impacting SG&A; partner with leaders to drive productivity improvements, ensure accountability for actions, and lead corrective measures as required.
  • Lead and manage the global SG&A finance team, ensuring all controlling, planning, and reporting activities are executed efficiently and effectively with high standards of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Own and lead SG&A budget cycles, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes across all functions.
  • Strengthen SG&A cost governance and ensure compliance with HARMAN/Samsung accounting standards, internal policies, and audit requirements.
  • Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across SG&A finance processes and systems.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with global functional leaders (e.g., HR, IT, Legal, Marketing) and finance leadership across the division / corporate
  • Develop and foster a high-performing, scalable, and engaged global finance team.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, controlling, or business partnering roll
  • Strong experience in leading transformation / continuous improvement programs within Finance or business areas.
  • Strong communication, leadership presence, and stakeholder management capability.
  • Proven experience leading teams, ideally in a global or matrixed environment.
  • Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and reporting tools expertise.
  • Proficiency with ERP/FP&AB systems and Reporting/Dashboarding tools/ technologies
  • Ability to work across time zones and collaborate in a global matrix environment.
