About the Role
As a Global Lean Director, you will lead the HPS organization worldwide, setting strategic direction and ensuring consistent execution of lean initiatives across all regions. You will collaborate with senior executives and site leaders to develop, standardize, and continuously evolve the HPS-Model to drive operational excellence and business performance. This role is pivotal in fostering a high-performance culture, enabling cost and productivity improvements, and embedding a unified lean mindset across a global, matrixed organization.
What You Will Do
Lead Global HPS Organization – Guide HPS leaders across all regions and collaborate with senior executives internally and externally.
Set Strategic Direction – Define and drive the global HPS roadmap and execution of key initiatives.
Mentor Regional Leaders – Provide coaching and support to site-level HPS Managers and Leaders.
Standardize HPS Model – Develop, update, and implement a unified HPS-Model that aligns with business needs.
Enforce Process Standardization – Drive consistency in HPS tools and methods (e.g., Standardized Work, STW Charts).
Facilitate Global Workshops – Plan and lead HPS leadership and “Shift Left” workshops to align global mindset.
Conduct Assessments – Execute HPS maturity audits and identify improvement areas across all regions.
Drive Cost/Productivity Initiatives – Partner with site leaders to lead and track improvement projects.
Foster Knowledge Sharing – Create and maintain a global SharePoint for best practices and CI resources.
Build High-Performance Teams – Attract, develop, and retain top HPS talent to drive cultural and operational excellence.

Engineering Career. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant course of study.
Minimum 10 years of Continuous Improvement experience with deep knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts (TPS)
Problem Solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, especially with senior stakeholders

The ability to influence cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with manufacturing needs
Hands-on expertise in implementing process best practices in dynamic, fast-paced environments

Strong communication skills across all levels—from shop floor to executive leadership
Proven success in managing high-performing teams and driving manufacturing strategies
Experience leading international, cross-cultural teams and managing complex programs
A data-driven mindset with strong decision-making and prioritization skills
Experience with budgeting, financial control, and reporting in program management
A strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
Outstanding writing and public speaking skills; confident and persuasive communicator
A strategic, innovative, and entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability and initiative
