Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Infotainment Defect Analysis and Triaging Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. You'll analyze and triage defects in infotainment systems, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and triage defects reported by testing teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reproduce and isolate defects
- Identify root causes and assign defects to respective teams
- Develop and maintain defect tracking and reporting metrics
- Conduct regular defect review meetings with stakeholders
- Implement process improvements for defect analysis and triaging
- Mentor junior team members in defect analysis and triagingRequirements:
Mandatory :
- 6-9 years of experience in defect analysis and triaging
- Strong knowledge of infotainment systems and automotive protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet)
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related fieldPreferred:
- Knowledge of automotive-grade Linux (e.g., GENIVI)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Certification in software testing or quality engineering
- Experience working with OEMs or automotive industryTools and Technologies:
Mandatory to know the below details:
- DLT Viewer
- JIRA/ Bugzilla
- Vector Informatik tools (CANoe or CANalyzer)
- Automotive protocols (CAN or Ethernet)
