About the Role

As a Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing an omnichannel marketing strategy to support new product launches, talent agreement deliverables, social and content marketing support, event and partnership activations alongside Harman ANZ team; Senior Marketing Manager, Senior Social Media Coordinator, Retail Marketing Manager and Ecommerce/Digital Managers.

Though there is some autonomy in this role, the ANZ Marketing Team works together to support the ANZ Sales team and overall Sales goals of the business. This role requires reporting of Marketing activity results monthly and by campaign. This role has no direct reports, however works closely alongside the Senior Social Media Coordinator day to day.

What You Will Do

  • Ambassadors – Work alongside Senior Marketing Manager and Senior Social Media Coordinator to outline and manage deliverables according to Ambassador agreements and product focuses per quarter.
  • Marketing / Brand Strategy Calendar – Oversee alignment of marketing mix: Sales, Social media plan, Email Marketing Schedule, Retail catalogues / Conference support. Maintain day by day marketing calendar of these elements to ensure above the line brand marketing activity aligns with retail sales promotions and activations.
  • Branding – Support in the coordination and logistics of the Half 2 New Product Photoshoot to take place in July/August. Responsible for post edit briefing and campaign asset toolkit roll out to internal stakeholders.
  • Asset Maintenance & Reporting – Collate and format submitted monthly marketing initiatives by ANZ team members and report to APAC. Using provided templates maintain campaign wrap reporting documents where required. Update master file with Global + APAC provided asset playbooks, links and creative toolkits. Create and maintain Product Portal Pages on internal asset platform + external roadmap document linking for external stakeholders.
  • Partnerships – Oversee and execute the contractual agreements of the 2025 Your Shot Partnerships, this includes all freighting logistics, competition prizing fulfilment, content deliverables and support in the integration of JBL CAMPUS Ambassadors role at Showcase event weekends.
  • Social Media Management – acting in support to the Senior Social Media Coordinator you will supply and/or approve; copy writing, community management, scheduling, reporting, customer service. Together with the coordinator you will define the quarterly strategy for Instagram and TikTok in alignment with sales promotions, new product releases, brand marketing initiatives, event coverage.
  • Content Creation – there is day to day creative design required, so skills in either Adobe Creative Cloud, Cap Cut or Canva are highly desirable for this role. 
  • Customer Service – respond to and approve all social DMs relating to customer service / warranty / prize enquiry / competition TCs.

Familiarity with talent management, partnerships and ambassadorships

  • A thorough understanding of NPI launches and Go To Market execution across online and offline placements. Experience in full funnel omnichannel marketing execution is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Brand Marketing or Social Content Marketing, experience working with brands targeting Gen Z / Millennial audiences is preferred.
  • Experience in executing creative briefs to a variety of contracted partners while managing alignment to business objectives, budgets and creative outputs is desired.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Social Media / Content Marketing with particular emphasis on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and top of funnel metric summary campaign reporting.
  • Preferred experience in design software solutions such as Adobe, Canva and CapCut.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Proficient in spoken and written English is required
  • You must be eligible to work in Australia and hold a current working Visa for non-citizens. This role will not support a visa application or relocation.
  • You may be required to travel domestic or international based on business needs
  • Candidates must live in Sydney. As a hybrid role you will be required to attend the Sydney Office minimum of 3 days a week.
  • This is a 10-month contract from May 19, 2025 to February 27, 2026.
