About the Role
Materials Manager Operations would be able to plan, coordinate and monitor the transfer of goods and materials from manufacturers and suppliers all the way through customers. You might oversee the whole process from beginning to end or you may work in part of the supply chain, also be involved in brand and marketing planning to make sure what is being promised can be delivered. Supply chains are made up of different operations, which include everything from forecasting trends and buying through to transport and distribution. Leading process: Warehousing, Inventories, Logistics, Packaging, Material´s flow and finish good. Materials Manager also support Strategies for Operations based on Continuous Improvement and Cost Reduction

What You Will Do
• Establish multidisciplinary teams for continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency of labor
• Coordinate systemic solutions to prevent the occurrence of any non-compliance related
• Oversee all production materials planning cycles and transactions in order to achieve appropriate levels of inventory.
• Manage the costs of the 3PL improving the capabilities and improvements
• Manage and coordinate the import – export process stablished in compliance with the regulations
• Minimize freight and premium freight services through systemic solutions.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques as related to material handling and control.
• Look at ways to improve supply chain networks
• Monitor overall performance to make sure targets are being met using KPI and metrics.
• Prepare forecasts and inventories for reports to the company's management team.
• Recruit, train and manage a team of supply chain staff.
• And other activities assigned by Materials Director.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Management System
• Lead and support EPDC team to stablish good process and flow for the warehouse
• Monitor EPDC KPI’s to assure health operations
• Appraise service levels across assigned facilities, suppliers and stores; and provide guidance to address gaps identified in product supply performance between Juarez / EPDC
What You Need

• Engineering, International Business, Finance or Administration Degree
• 7-10 years of related experience
• Experience in the automotive industry preferably
• Experience with customer relationship
• Knowledge on inventory tasks (cycle count, audits, customer service)
• Knowledge of ISO / TS 16949 and ISO 14001
• English 90%, Advance English level (reading and writing that allow fluid presentations)
• Logistics & Customs Compliance.
• Customer specific requirements (applicable)
• Experience utilizing financial and data-driven techniques to make decisions; proven experience negotiating with freight and logistics providers
