About the Role
This role involves leading the Central India region for Harman Professional products, with a focus on managing and expanding the Master Dealer and Sub-dealer network within the territory.
What You Will Do
Drive the growth and development of the Central India region for HARMAN Professional products.
Manage and expand the Master Dealer and Sub-dealer network within the region.
Ensure consistent product availability across all key markets in the territory.
Oversee and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Master Dealers, including Sell-In, Sell-Out, Collections, and Forecasting.
Enhance brand visibility and awareness within the region, functioning as a field sales leader.
Regularly review, refine, and update sales policies and strategies in alignment with business goals and market dynamics.
Achieve and surpass ROI and KPI targets through effective sales execution.
Collaborate closely with the broader sales team and Senior Area Sales Managers to align regional objectives.
Lead and mentor a team of Area Sales Representatives to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Deliver impactful training sessions to the sales team, acting as a training and development resource.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
Address customer queries promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Leverage multiple communication channels to effectively engage the target audience.
Monitor performance metrics of the regional sales team and adjust strategies as needed to drive results.
What You Need to Be Successful
Over 8 years of experience, with proficiency in commonly used customer relationship management (CRM) tools—a strong advantage for the Area Sales Manager role.
Open to travel as required by business needs.
Demonstrated success in roles as an Area Sales Manager or Field Sales Manager.
Skilled in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities through effective sales strategies.
Adept at building and nurturing a strong customer base, aligned with core responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager role.
Capable of developing sales plans that align with the company's overall mission, vision, and values.
Bonus Points if You Have
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Exceptionally organized with strong time management capabilities.
Proficient in delivering impactful presentations.
Solid computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM platforms.
Proven track record of consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
What Makes You Eligible
Be willing to travel up to 70%, including domestic travel
