About the Role
The role is responsible for developing, finalizing, and documenting the vehicle audio system to meet or exceed performance and cost targets. Perform sound tuning and sound performance tests, measurement, and evaluation to meet or exceed Branded Audio system performance expectations.
What You Will Do
- Interface with sales and customers to provide technical solutions and support. Initiate and define audio system architecture and performance targets based on target cost.
- Manage system components requirement specifications for car audio systems.
- Perform sound tunings for the audio system to meet performance expectations objectively and subjectively.
- Participate in presenting concept systems in the pursuit of new business. Demonstrate system performance to customers to gain approval for each development phase, including final sign-off.
- Utilize audio/acoustic data acquisition equipment/tools (Audio precision, Audio analyzer, signal generator, Scope, RTA, Acoustic measurement/analysis tool) to perform in-vehicle measurement and analysis for audio systems development.
- Install electric and acoustic components to complete and verify concept audio system architectures, and achieve expected features and performances.
- Provide continuing technical support for production maintenance.
What You Need
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electronics or Acoustics.
- Minimum of 5 years engineering experience in consumer electronics or automotive.
- Knowledge of audio hardware and software, signal processing, vehicle BUS, loudspeakers, audio amplifiers, Microphones, etc.
- Knowledge of sound quality evaluation.

- Rich work experience in audio products
- Experience in the Automotive industry is a plus
