About the Role

As an Acoustic Engineer, you will contribute to develop and design new products (Automotive microphones, RNC accelerometers). Development tasks are starting from simulation through prototyping to the validation of the first production samples. You will also need to perform Acoustic / Vibro-acoustic measurement and evaluate the products according to the customer needs. In this role, you will report to the Acoustic Engineering Manager.

What You Will Do

· Support creation of product specifications for customer and supplier.

· Preparing and performing audio measurements, lab level and vehicle level.

· Making acoustic simulations for microphones, accelerometers, test systems

· Perform or support technical evaluations together with the customer.

· Making of technical benchmarks of microphones.

· Develop and tune acoustical components and car microphone applications.

· Assembly and testing of microphone prototypes.

· Support development of acoustic measurement systems.

· Making acoustic simulations for microphones, accelerometers, test systems

· Support programs RFQ/RFI stage with Acoustic engineering related inputs

· Support projects with Acoustic Engineering inputs

· Create product documentation and test reports

What You Need to Be Successful

· Fluent English

· Bachelor degree in Acoustics or electrical engineering

· Acoustic Studies and broad knowledge in acoustics

· Familiarity with sound recording and audio measurement tools

· Experience with Acoustic measurements and simulations

Bonus Points if You Have

· Knowledge of MATLAB, COMSOL, SoundCheck

· Automotive industry experience
