We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Administration Specialist to work in the DACH Team.

Administration Specialist - DACH

About the Role:

This position is within HARMAN’s Consumer Lifestyle Division in DACH, headquartered in Garching (bei München), Germany. As part of the DACH Sales Team in a rapidly growing company, you will be responsible for managing the administration of sales investments, approvals and customer documentation, as well as supporting the Sales Director DACH as team assistant.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinating team schedules.
  • Organizing events and travel.
  • Preparing and taking notes for meetings.
  • Maintaining files and documents.
  • Ad hoc business and personal administration.
  • Arranging meetings.
  • Assisting with onboarding new team members.
  • Coordinating team events and social activities.
  • Scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Assisting with PowerPoint presentations and reporting.
  • Booking meeting rooms.
  • Scheduling appointments with clients.
  • Gathering information for projects.
  • Providing general office support.
  • Setting up file share sites, uploading.
  • Making travel arrangements for Sales Director DACH.
  • Ordering office supplies and samples.
  • Managing sample stock, sample process and sample returns.

What You Need to be successful:

  • At least 3 years of experience of working as an executive assistant, or administration assistant in an international context.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
  • Proven strong communicator.
  • Team player – we only win as a team, not as an individual performer.
  • Can-to attitude.
  • “Problem solver”.

What Makes You Eligible:

  • Willingness to be in the Garching office 1 day/ week.
  • Home office based in Germany.
  • Willingness to attend quarterly sales meetings throughout DACH.
