Description & Requirements

Sr Cloud Engineer - O365– Remote support (11B)

Provide Email administration using Exchange online (O365) for users in North America. The support window will be 8:am EST to 8 pm EST, working in shifts, available for on call support for critical issues.

Roles Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to)

              

  • Candidate should have good experience in Office365 Administration and supporting end users for any email issues.
  • Candidate should have experience in migration (good in hybrid migration) or deployment of Office 365.
  • Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Setting up SSO, Azure AD Premium experience required.
  • Migration experience would be an added advantage.
  • Experience with and understanding of mail transport fundamentals (POP/IMAP/SMPT), as well as networking fundamentals.
  • Individuals have experience working with Exchange Server 2010, 2013, and 2016, can troubleshoot Hybrid Connectivity issues, and can provide Exchange Server support.
  • Individual has implemented and supported Office 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams
  • Experience in MS Defender for O365 or similar products
  • Individual has experience troubleshooting and working with Teams / Skype for Business Server hybrid connectivity to Office 365. Nice to have: Individual has worked with Azure Rights Management Services (Azure RMS) including creating RMS policies, updating RMS policies, and troubleshooting RMS policies.
  • Individual has experience using the Office Deployment Toolkit (ODT), modifying the ODT XML files, and troubleshooting Office installation issues. Individual has deployed and / or configured Microsoft Intune including creating policies, resolving conditional access issues, and managing connected devices.
  • Includes, but not limited to knowledge of DNS, Message Trace Tools, MX and SPF Records, Block Lists, SPAM, Email Filtering and Virus Protection.
  • Auto discover / Outlook connectivity / OWA / ActiveSync / Mailbox Store / MRM / Public folders / EWS / Free-Busy / Mail routing / SMTP relay / Recipient configuration / e-discovery/Discovery search Preferred.
  • Good to have Certification on Office 365 & or Azure

Must Have

  • O365 email administration implementation and support
  • MS Defender for Cloud
  • Teams administration
  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure, , Azure Active Directory
  • Working knowledge on O365, End User & Security tools, switches, routers, MS Teams, video conferencing solutions
  • Intermediate PowerShell scripting
  • Experience in automating tasks handled by L1 support team
  • Ability to learn new product updates and technologies.
  • Ability to communicate appropriately with client technical and executive staff

Requirements & Behavioral Attributes

  • 8 to 12 years of proven experience as a Email administrator,
  • Ability to solve complex email issues
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Microsoft administration certification would be an added advantage
  • Ability work after hours, perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions as well
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Good written and verbal (English) communication skills
