You will join our facilities department either at our office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Kvistgard, Denmark or Hemel Hempstead, UK in the position of: 

Facility Manager - EMEA

About the Role:

HARMAN is currently looking for a EMEA Facility Manager. At HARMAN, we expect brilliance.  You can expect a career full of brilliant possibilities. The Facility Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the company facilities are maintained and services efficiently and within budget requirements.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensuring that Harman offices in EMEA are maintained developed and serviced in an efficient and effective manner.
  • To keep contact and liaise with building owner, building management and other subcontractors regarding office related issues and requests
  • To ensure all works are conducted within budget parameters by the most efficient means whilst ensuring quality is maintained.
  • To oversee and support on car fleet and car policy for several European countries (Netherland, France, Denmark, Spain etc.).
  • To support and manager health and safety requirements, including the supervision and control of third parties.
  • Analyze and report against budget variation with corresponding explanations.
  • Liaise with business leaders and other interested parties in progressing work requests and problem solving facilities activity.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in Economics or related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in large, multi-national matrix organization.
  • Business English fluency (written & spoken).
  • Demonstrates a proactive and collaborative approach to troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects / initiatives simultaneously and executing to completion.
  • Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively work with all levels of a global matrixed organization and external parties.
