What You Will Do

• Providing daily quality assurance support for supplied products
• Handling non-conforming supplier products
• Defining and maintaining the quality control plan related to each product
• Organizing blocking activities for defective products
• Managing the process of returning defective products to the supplier
• Identifying the root causes of supplier quality issues in collaboration with suppliers and implementing effective quality solutions using the 8D methodology
• Continuously monitoring and improving supplier quality
• Conducting supplier quality assurance audits – if necessary, together with the SQE
• Reporting critical quality issues
• Organizing and coordinating rework or sorting activities by the supplier, external company, or Harman
• Defining and minimizing costs arising from non-conforming quality (COPQ) in the supply chain
• Implementing corrective actions at the supplier quality level and for costs arising from non-conforming quality

What You Need to Be Successful

• Higher education in a relevant field
• Confident user-level computer skills (MS Office, SAP)
• Independent, confident, constructive, and proactive work attitude
• Above-average problem-solving skills and quick decision-making ability

Bonus Points if You Have

• Experience with ISO TS / IATF and VDA
• Relevant professional experience in a similar field
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, 5W, SPC, CP, FMEA, PPAP, and APQP tools and methods
• Outstanding analytical skills
