Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer with experience in automotive telematics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in telematics unit validation, bench and vehicle testing, and log analysis. A strong background in software testing and connectivity domains is preferred. Japanese language proficiency and familiarity with ALM systems (requirement tracking, test execution, and reporting) will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform telematics unit validation through bench and vehicle testing.

  • Analyze logs and test data to identify issues and provide resolutions.

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure software quality and compliance with requirements.

  • Conduct functional, performance, and system-level testing for telematics systems.

  • Utilize ALM tools for requirement tracking, test execution, and reporting.

  • Ensure seamless connectivity and compatibility of telematics units with various automotive systems.

  • Document and report test findings, issues, and resolutions effectively.

  • Communicate with stakeholders, including Japanese-speaking teams, when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience in automotive telematics testing, including bench and vehicle testing.

  • Proficiency in log analysis and debugging software issues.

  • Experience in connectivity domains (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular networks).

  • Familiarity with ALM tools for test management and reporting.

  • Japanese language skills (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
