About the Role

As a member of the Accounts Payable team, you will support daily financial operations by processing invoices, ensuring tax compliance, and working with global teams across Harman businesses. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth and accurate processing of payments. In this role, you will report to the line manager and work under the guidance of senior team members.

What You Will Do

  • Process direct, indirect, and prepayment invoices
  • Ensure correct tax codes (TDS/GST/VAT/SUT) during accounting
  • Collaborate with internal teams and resolve invoice issues
  • Communicate with vendors and manage payment inquiries
  • Support urgent payments, balance confirmations, and month-end closing
  • Ensure compliance with Harman policies and audit standards

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Ability to follow written instructions and guidance from senior team members
  • Understanding of tax codes (TDS / GST / VAT / SUT) as applicable during accounting
  • Capability to work collaboratively with internal departments and global teams
  • Attention to detail for accurate processing and reconciliation
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Experience in working with automated ERS postings and making corrections
  • Familiarity with cross-border payment documentation and customs slips
  • Background in supporting audit processes and compliance standards
  • Exposure to accounts payable functions in a multinational or shared services environment
  • Prior experience in handling urgent or exception-based payments
