About the Role:


You are responsible to drive sales (sell-out) at outlet level in the Benelux market for our retailer Media Markt (MSH). You are responsible for building strong customer relationships, as well as for business development, distribution, and prospecting in the market. Your focus is driving excellence at the point of sale and to execute the objectives coming from the Sales Director as well as Sales Manager Media Markt Benelux at store level for all segments in the region.

What You Will Do:

  • Work in collaboration with the Sales Support department and Sales Manager Media Markt Benelux.
  • Manage, nature and optimize existing account and distribution within Media Markt Benelux.
  • Maintain and develop the account plans for your accounts (stores) and share best practices with the team.
  • Monitor and report competitive trends and market developments and propose strategies.
  • Manages the merchandising and promotional support for the BNL Media Market stores.
  • Development of sell-out-oriented marketing activities for the accounts and report back to the Sales Manager Media Markt Benelux.
  • Analyzes sales results and adjust strategy accordingly on store level.
  • Focus on optimized product mix (push sales/volume/brand).
  • Acting as the escalation point for the Sales Support team when dealing with order related topics for all BNL related Media Markt stores.
  • Reduce sales cost for cost optimization.
  • Analyze weekly Rack Jobber report as part of the product framework per category on store level.
  • Utilize Rex 4 and report on weekly Excel to keep records of all customer contacts, sales proposals and conversation reports up to date.
  • Daily monitoring of the open order book and allocation of Media Markt BNL.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Experienced in Field Sales & Marketing.
  • At Least 1 year of work experience.
  • Excellent creative and content skills to understand what is needed to drive conversion and business.
  • Result-oriented and excellent communication skills.
  • Used to multi-tasking and fast paced deliveries and turnarounds.
  • Open minded, curious with a can-do mentality.
  • Experience in working within a global organization with a diverse, multi-cultural team.
