About the Role

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining e-commerce storefront applications on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). They will monitor system performance, identify opportunities for improvement or refactoring, and collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and deliver projects using agile methodology. The role also involves supporting all SFCC initiatives while ensuring high-quality development, security, and compliance. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with IT teams on infrastructure and ensure proper documentation and adherence to development standards.

What You Will Do

  • Develop feature enhancements, new modules, and resolve defects.

  • Collaborate with architects and developers across local and remote teams to align on requirements.

  • Ensure thorough documentation of design and implementation throughout the SDLC.

  • Be part of a global team providing 24x7 on-call support for e-commerce applications, while staying updated on the latest SFCC, payment, security, and cloud trends.

  • Build reusable components and efficiently troubleshoot and resolve critical issues.

  • Provide timely and transparent updates on enhancements and fixes to stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, engaging with business teams, partners, and vendors to define end-to-end e-commerce solutions.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Overall 5–8 years of web development experience, with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with SFCC, including design, implementation, support, enhancements, and migrations.

  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams with UI/UX, QA, product/project managers, and business stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in CMS implementation and integration.

  • Strong experience in the Catalog, Pricing, Inventory, Payment, and Promotions modules of SFCC

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather, refine, and document software requirements.

  • Good understanding of payment systems, PCI compliance, and experience in developing RESTful APIs and responsive applications.

  • Proficiency in modern web technologies (JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, SASS, Less), along with Git usage and knowledge of coding best practices and design patterns.

Bonus Points if You Have  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.

  • Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer and/or Architect certification.

  • Basic understanding of compiled programming languages.
