About the Role

This position is primarily responsible for implementing and monitoring regulatory and non-regulatory compliance testing, process, released certification report.


Your Team

This position is intended to belong to a global structure, directly reporting to Regional manager.

What You Will Do

  • Create, review, and manage homologation and certificates plan in areas such as risk management, software, human factors, test and lab capability.
  • Collect and create technical files of diagrams, critical component lists, user manual and application documents.
  • Direct and participate in test setups specified within standards and documentation of results.
  • Consult with engineering staff to address problems that may occur during certification process.
  • Review and maintain product labels for compliance with labeling regulatory requirements.
  • Travel to local test labs as needed to provide onsite support, including debug of EMC/ Safety/WLAN/BT/USB-IF/SXM/SDARS or similar issues when required.
  • Know and comply Automotive / management & Costumer requirements according skill matrix.
  • Mandatory have knowledge of DFMEAS.

What You Need

  • BEE (Bachelor of Electrical) or above in related field.
  • 4 or more years related experience with electrical/wireless products regulatory compliance (Such as: EU RED EN300328/301489/300440/301893/62368, US FCC15B/C, BSMI, CCC, SRRC, NAL…) and some knowledge of technical compliance (Such as: BQB, WiFi Alliance, USB, Baidu Carlife…)
  • MS software (Excel, Word, Power point, Project, and Visio…) is required.
  • Electrical design and telecommunications knowledge are required.
  • Excellent English communication ability.
  • Knowledge of the IATF16949 standard (including regulatory requirements) and specific customer requirements

What is Nice to Have

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in wireless engineering or telecommunications
  • A minimum of 3 years experience dealing in regulatory processes
  • Hands on experience with wireless technologies like WLAN, BT, LTE, mmWave 5G is preferred
  • Well trained in problem solving methodology. Experience of key issue problem resolving in previous job is a must.

  • Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic only OR domestic and international travel
  • Be willing to work in an Office in Qro Location OR This role is eligible to work remotely full-time with occasional trips into the Qro office location required (this could be on 24-hour notice)
