Description & Requirements

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare and maintain Risk Control Matrix, control documentations etc.

  • Periodic assessment and self-testing of controls and update process documentation.

  • Define internal controls for various processes, enforce & ensure compliance.

  • Advice on potential risks and provide mitigation during process changes.

  • Handle (initiate) SAP GRC access requests, handle incoming authorization requests (approve in the absence of the manager).

  • Handle Internal, External & Statutory Audit requests.

  • Coordinate manual journal entry monthly review within all locations.

  • Manage local functional stakeholders as well as external professionals.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.

  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Ensure process improvements within compliance function and across other finance departments in SSC.

  • Promotion campaigns to enhance compliance awareness.

What You Need:

  • Strong accounting and audit knowledge

  • 5+ years of overall experience (in a hybrid of core accounting and shared services environment) with

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance role

  • Excellent MS office suite skills (Excel, PPT, Word)

  • Flexible about work content, timings, and location

  • Prior experience of working in shared services

  • Prior Experience in SOX/Internal Audit (knowledge about internal control systems)

  • ERP / SAP system knowledge

  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal

  • Strong interpersonal skills with stakeholders and other colleagues

  • Should be flexible to work independently as well as in collaborative manner

  • Strong Analytical & Critical thinking skills

  • Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to make decisions

  • Conflict handling and feedback giving

  • Innovative mindset

  • Strategic thinking

This position is offered on a fixed-term basis for a period of two years.
