What You Will Do

  • Supervise the daily activities of the configuration management team.

  • Set priorities for the team to ensure the timely completion of tasks within defined guidelines.

  • Provide informal technical guidance and support to team members.

  • Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with company standards and policies.

  • Oversee configuration identification and control processes for all configuration items (CIs).

  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of configuration changes.

  • Coordinate configuration audits and validations to maintain compliance with requirements.

  • Support problem-solving and escalate issues when necessary.

  • Ensure the team adheres to ASPICE guidelines and company procedures.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the configuration management function.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for configuration-related queries within the team.

  • Communicate status updates and progress to management and relevant stakeholders.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in configuration management or a related field.

  • Previous experience in supervising or coordinating a small team is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of ASPICE and configuration management tools.

  • Strong organisational and planning skills.

  • Ability to guide team members and resolve day-to-day issues.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
