About the Role:
As a Customer Marketing Coordinator within Harman’s Consumer Division, you will help strengthen the JBL and Harman Kardon brands across Spain, Italy, and Portugal. You will be responsible for driving, coordinating, and executing Retail Marketing activities across major retailers and customer touchpoints—both online and in-store. Your work will ensure strong, consistent brand representation and support initiatives that increase brand awareness, improve brand consideration, and drive sales conversion.
In this role, you will support both the local and EMEA commercial teams by managing retailer-specific marketing campaigns, coordinating new product introductions, and working closely with retail marketing teams and external agencies. You will help deliver customer activations, digital programs, trade marketing initiatives, and promoter activities.
You will act as the main marketing contact for local Key Account Managers and retailer teams at partners such as El Corte Inglés, MediaMarkt, and Fnac, as well as agencies and distributors across Portugal and Italy. You will also collaborate frequently with EMEA teams across Trade Marketing, Digital, and Campaign Management.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience across multiple marketing channels, understands how to work effectively with retailers, and knows how to plan and execute campaigns that enhance brand visibility and convert shoppers into buyers.
What You Will Do:
- Retail Marketing Planning –coordinate all marketing activities within customer channels as the single point of contact for all marketing topics, working closely with both local Key Account Managers and retailer marketing teams. Develop and review annual marketing plans in close collaboration with Key Account Managers. Oversee and manage overall budgets in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
- Digital Marketing – Coordinate digital content in alignment with performance marketing planning. Oversee production, delivery/distribution, and optimization of NPI content. Collaborate with the EMEA Digital Marketing team and the local Marketing Manager to develop content, production schedules, and content dissemination plans.
- Product Content & Management – Manage and review product pages on online retailer platforms to ensure correct categorization, imagery, copy, and reviews. Coordinate the Go-to-Market strategy for new product launches and align internal Sales and Marketing communications on key launches and lifecycle activations.
- Activation Marketing – Support the planning and execution of experiential customer programs both in-store and online. Work closely with the EMEA Customer Activation team to implement programs across regional key accounts. Manage the day-to-day operations of activation platforms within the region.
- Trade Marketing – Oversee the installation and updates of in-store displays, working with the merchandising agency across Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Collaborate with the EMEA Trade Marketing Team to ensure accurate budget forecasting.
- Field Team & Promoters – Support the Sr. Marketing Manager in managing the Field Team and Promoters through the local agency Ignite. Handle communication with the agency, key activities, budget management, and return on investment (ROI) assessments.
What You Need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
- An advanced level for business language Spanish and English.
- At least 4-5 years’ experience preferably in an International Marketing or Business Administration environment.
- Ability to work within a matrix organization.
- Experience with MS office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong Organizational skills and detail oriented
- Independent and team player, fluent in English, additional Euro language a plus.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Willingness to travel ~20%
- Willingness to work in an office (Madrid).
What is Nice to Have:
- Experience with Consumer Electronics market is a plus.
- Experience working within a cross-functional multinational matrix structure is a plus.
