As a Digitalization Solution Developer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of digital solutions for manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse operations. You will work within a modern technology stack to build scalable, cloud-native applications that enable automation, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization. This role is ideal for a technically skilled software developer looking to grow within the digitalization space while working with a mix of backend, frontend, and DevOps technologies. In this role, you will be part of a strong team in Digitalization Global Manufacturing.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement scalable and cloud-based software solutions for manufacturing and warehouse digitalization.

  • Build backend services and APIs using Spring Boot, TypeScript (Node.js), and Python.

  • Design and optimize databases, leveraging PostgreSQL and serverless DBs, with additional exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB).

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.

  • Develop modern frontend applications with Angular, and where applicable, HTMx for minimal UI needs.

  • Ensure system performance, security, and maintainability through best development practices.

  • Collaborate with solution architects, project managers, and engineers to implement IIoT, AI, and cloud technologies.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high software quality.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in industrial or enterprise environments.

  • Strong backend development experience in Spring Boot, TypeScript (Node.js), and Python.

  • Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, serverless DBs) and familiarity with NoSQL solutions (MongoDB).

  • Understanding of frontend frameworks (Angular, HTMx), with openness to alternatives like React.

  • Experience in DevOps & CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).

  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Knowledge of modern software development methodologies, including Agile and DevSecOps.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies (e.g., Golang, .NET, GraphQL, event-driven architectures).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Experience with legacy programming languages and architectures of the last 10 years.

  • (Basic) understanding of production environments in automotive electronics.

  • Experience in IIoT or in PLC programming

  • Experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist).

  • Willing to travel up to 20% (domestic & international).

  • Comfortable working in a hybrid or remote environment with a base location in Europe (HU, DE), Asia (CN, IN, TH), or North America.

  • Experience in collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams.
