About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Engineer II Software to lead software and system integration testing for a complex automotive project.
The role involves:
Integration and Testing of software and systems across multiple SoCs and MCUs.
Debugging and Analysis of regression failures to ensure system stability and performance.
Handling Complex Architectures involving multiple serial communication protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, UART, SCI, and SPI, across several interconnected boards.
Networking Expertise is critical, as the project’s core functionality relies on robust network protocol integration within the automotive domain.
What You Will Do
Track & communicate customer delivery dates and make sure PI/sprint planning is aligned.
Actively engage with various stakeholders and trigger for support/followup needed (instead of reacting to triggers from other stakeholders).
Drive quality and process compliance to meet ASPICE objectives.
Work with the Software Platform teams collaboratively around the globe.
Carry out end-to-end responsibilities encompassing customer interaction, requirements management, architecture/design, implementation, and testing.
Plan, organize, execute and monitor all aspects of projects to achieve commitments for delivery, performance, and financial requirements.
Facilitate technical discussions with customers to ensure requirements are met and customer is satisfied.
What You Need to be successful
7+ yrs. of hands-on experience in Infotainment/Cockpit System SW Development/Design for Automotive Electronics systems.
Strong understanding and Testing of Ethernet protocols, including IEEE 802.3, Audio Video Bridging (AVB), real-time diagnostics, and Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and Script Automation.
Integration of diverse automotive subsystems such as infotainment, displays, cameras, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Functional Safety (FuSA) / Safety Feature Integration (SFI), and autonomous driving technologies.
Experience in managing team, Project Planning, Risk Planning, Cost and Budget Planning, Process implementation, RFQ and Requirements understanding, Customer requirement prioritization.
Experience in team hiring, leadership, task/assignment delegation etc.
Dedicated performer with the ability to resolve technical issues quickly and lead from the front.
Relentless learner with a dedication to learn new technologies and test methods.
Self-driven and Innovative to drive continuous improvements in Design and Development process.
Resourcefulness in triaging technical problems and coordinating with multiple teams for issue resolution.
Strong written, verbal communication and inter personal relationship skills.
