About the Role

  • The primary responsibility is the clarification about the open points for the customer spec and deploy Conduct system level test for amplifier products
  • Able to understand the schedule of target products development projects, make a test specification according to the test implementation date for each event, and conduct.
  • Make a test design document based on the test plan, secure the quality by the investigation of the requirement coverage.
  • Improve the efficiency of the test by applying test automation system, and improve the quality.
  • Validate a system consistency by conducting a test at customer’s site and in an actual vehicle.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct a test, verification of result based on Testcase based on customer requirement as well input from software development person in charge.
  • Submit a report of daily test result with logical and understandable description for stakeholders.
  • Define reproduction test method and conduct it when issue occurs. Report the result accurately based on the content.
  • Understand the mechanism of occurrence of issue found at a test. Collaborate with the concerned persons toward early settlement.
  • Understand the contents of the issue from technical point of view. Define a test procedure. Solve the issues by collaborating with other teams (Including global bases).

What You Need

  • Experience of in-vehicle products system level of tesing (Two years or more)
  • Experience of automatic test system development (Two years or more)
  • Experience and knowledge related to in-vehicle LAN (Especially CAN/MOST)
  • Able to communicate in Japanese (spoken and written), intermediate level English (spoken and written) skill is required.
  • Five + year experience as a supplier to any car manufacture or working for any automotive OEM.
  • Strong written communication skills – must be able to clearly and concisely communicate technical information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – must work well on a team with customer and Harman functional groups.
  • Ability to manage several projects efficiently and meet schedules, as well as work under pressure and maintain a high level of output.
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft products.

  • Demonstrates ability to take charge when necessary. 
  • Demonstrates ability to get ideas across through clear and logical communication.  Demonstrates ability to lead meetings, speak in public, and prepare written correspondence.

  • Qualification of JSTQB etc.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 50%, domestic and international travel.
  • Be willing to work in an office, client-site, home office.
  • Able to work late evening and early morning as necessary especially when work with global teams.
