As one of the largest audio portfolio companies globally, we’re home to iconic brands like Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Marantz, Polk Audio, Definitive Technology, Classé, and Boston Acoustics. Each brand carries its own legacy, and together, we’re shaping the future of home entertainment.

You will join our Sound United Business Unit in the position of:

HR Projects Partner EMEA – Integration (Fixed Term Contract)

A Career at HARMAN Lifestyle:

We’re a global, multi-disciplinary team that’s putting the innovative power of technology to work and transforming tomorrow. As a member of HARMAN Lifestyle, you connect consumers with the power of superior sound.

  • Contribute your talents to high-end, esteemed brands like Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Marantz, Polk Audio, Definitive Technology, Classé, and Boston Acoustics.
  • Unite your passion for audio innovation with high-tech product development.
  • Create pitch-perfect, cutting-edge technology that elevates the listening experience.

About the Role:

Are you driven by enabling successful HR integrations, translating global HR strategy into local delivery, and guiding organisations through complex change across EMEA?
As HR Projects Partner (EMEA) – Integration, you will sit at the heart of HARMAN’s people integrations, acting as the key link between Corporate HR Integration Leads and local EMEA HR delivery teams.

You will support Corporate HR, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and Shared Services by gathering local insights, understanding existing people arrangements within the Sound United SBU, and translating these into clear, actionable requirements for EMEA HR teams.

Working closely with HR stakeholders across HARMAN, you will help plan, sequence, and deliver integration activity across multiple HR disciplines, ensuring alignment, UK & EU legal compliance, and a consistent employee experience throughout every phase of the integration journey.

What You Will Do:

Strategic & Operational Partnering (Integration Focus)

  • Act as the single EMEA point of contact between HARMAN Corporate HR Integration Leads and local HR delivery teams.
  • Translate global integration requirements into clear, actionable local inputs across EMEA.
  • Ensure clarity around ownership, timelines, dependencies, and readiness across HR integration workstreams.

CrossFunctional Integration Coordination

  • Partner with global and local HR teams to plan and coordinate people‑related integration activity across key HR areas, including benefits, contracts, policies, communications, payroll, reward, Talent Acquisition, HR systems (e.g. Workday), and time & attendance.
  • Ensure integration activities are properly sequenced and interconnected, with local requirements clearly understood.
  • Track EMEA progress, risks, and overall readiness, escalating issues where needed to maintain momentum.

Employment Law, Risk & Compliance (UK & EU)

  • Provide guidance on UK and EU employment‑law considerations relevant to integration activity.
  • Support the assessment and management of TUPE / business transfers and collective consultation requirements, including preparation of consultation and employee information materials.
  • Ensure all integration decisions comply with local legislation, collective agreements, and internal governance frameworks.

Stakeholder Management & Governance

  • Act as the connector between Corporate HR and the EMEA Sound United HR team, ensuring clarity of roles, ownership, and accountability.
  • Facilitate alignment across HR disciplines and manage escalations where decisions span multiple teams.
  • Provide clear updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to the EMEA HR Director to support informed decision‑making.

Change, Communication & Employee Experience

  • Support coordinated employee communication and change activity throughout integration phases.
  • Work with HR and business stakeholders to ensure a consistent and transparent employee experience across impacted populations.
  • Identify employee‑related risks (engagement, retention, experience) and work with HR partners to address them.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Proven experience delivering HR integration, transformation, or complex HR projects in a multi‑country or EMEA environment
  • Strong working knowledge of UK and EU employment law, including TUPE/business transfers and collective consultation
  • Experience acting as a connector between global and local teams, translating strategy into practical local delivery
  • Confidence coordinating across multiple HR disciplines (COEs, Shared Services, local HR) without direct line ownership
  • Excellent stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity, surface risks, and drive alignment
  • Solid project‑coordination skills, including sequencing work, tracking dependencies, and maintaining delivery readiness
  • Experience working with HR systems and data (Workday or similar) during periods of change
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a strong advantage

  • You are going to work in an international team within a friendly global working atmosphere.
  • HARMAN offers a diverse and inclusive work environment that fosters and encourages career development opportunities, professional training and competitive market base compensation.
