Description & Requirements
This role is basically an interface between production and product development. Stakeholder include but not limited to below:
Acts as Interface with the
SW Team
System Architect Team
HW Team
Production team
and any other stakeholders involved like PO, RTE, SWPL for all topics related to industrialization from the development phase to start of production completion.
Defining the programming specification and coordinating the execution of reprogramming packages
Conducting the configuration of industrialization and coordinating its validation and data exchange with Customer
Preparing the infrastructure for device specific data for the production.
What You Will Do
Technical responsibility for "Industrialization" within Harman Connectivity projects
Planning, controlling and monitoring of all tasks and activities related to "Industrialization" (Jira, ALM)
Providing the interface for Harman SW development departments, HW development departments, Harman industrialization teams, Harman production sites and the customer to clarify and align on all production related topics
Act as technical interface between software development, integration, program management and production in an internationally distributed and diverse work environment
Clarification of requirements, interfaces, timeline, etc. related to Industrialization with the production, customer, the impacted Harman domains and supplier on technical level (e.g. workshops, regular communication meetings)
Status reporting towards project lead/PM
Problem/issue ticket management related to this domain (Elvis, Jira, ALM)
Support of the project leads regarding evaluation of requirements and change requests with context SW industrialization
Status reporting towards HW project lead / SW project lead / PM
Support in case of needed for proof-of-concept activities
Manage Requirement-Engineering and Change Management (End-2-End), set up and review associated effort estimations and architecture
Ensure compliance to required processes, quality and licensing rules (ASPICE, BMS, M-Gates, risk management etc)
What You Need
Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, mostly in automotive product development projects
Solid and applied knowledge of project management methodology, as well as agile methods
Experience and knowledge of production processes
Good understanding of industrialization process requirements
Distinct abilities in managing large internationally oriented multifunctional teams in worldwide locations
Ability to motivate and communicate
Ability to mediate between conflicting parties
Fluent English skills (technical & presentation)
HW setup knowledge
What is Nice to Have
Knowledge of Virtual Test Environment
Experience in working with Agile methodologies.
Experience and knowledge at system integration, OS, and driver testing
Experience in problem resolution management tools
PMP certification
Experience with Doors, Jira, ALM and Teamcenter
