You will join our Marketing department based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in the position of:
Intern Marketing, Benelux - Dutch Native
About the Role:
Are you a marketing student who loves music and gaming? And do you want to work for cool brands like JBL? Then read on. Because HARMAN is looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive marketing intern to join the marketing team. The marketing team is involved in communication, trade marketing, digital marketing, PR and events. With us you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment with a team of experienced marketers who will guide you. At HARMAN, no day is the same. We offer a varied work environment full of energy, in which you get the opportunity to grow and learn. In your role you will mainly focus on the Dutch market. The internship will last at least six months.
What are you going to do?
Learning, learning a lot.
Support in managing campaigns and partnerships.
Reporting and analysis for the marketing and sales department.
Help with campaigns to launch new products.
Coordination of online trade marketing for key retailers.
Assist in the coordination of samples.
Support at events and activation (for example with our gaming influencers or ambassadors).
Overall support from the marketing team.
Work hard and have a lot of fun.
The above activities are examples of activities that you may encounter in the marketing department. You will also have the opportunity to work on one or more projects. For example, helping to set up a gaming activation with our gaming influencers. This depends on your personal interest and the currently available projects.
We’d love to see candidates who have:
University Student (preferably at the end of Bachelor/Master) specialization: Marketing/Communication.
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.)
Fluent in English and Dutch. French is a plus
Strong communication skills and a real team player.
You work in a structured and organized manner.
You hold your own in a fast-paced work environment.
You are pragmatic and result-oriented.
Knowledge of social media and trends is a plus.
Knowledge of and/or interest in electronics is a plus.
You are a hard worker and a go-getter.
You like fun and a good working atmosphere.
