What You Will Do
• Analyzes, diagnoses and repairs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment related to
the installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment, carries out these activities with little or
limited supervision.
• Performs operating diagnostics and equipment failures to find opportunities to perform preventive,
productive or corrective maintenance, including repair of failures.
• Perform the uninstallation, disarming, dismantling or changes that are necessary in the equipment.
• Participates in the development and programming of preventive and predictive maintenance and
executes them.
• Prepare requisitions of parts and materials that are required.
• Verify that the equipment and instruments work properly and are properly installed and calibrated.
• Comply with the requirements of quality management systems (IATF) and environmental management
(ISO14000) that are applicable to your position
• Make the changes in machines and equipment that are necessary for the model changes of the line.
• Replenish the adhesive materials in the applicable equipment or containers, taking care that they do not
end up causing the pieces without the application of adhesive.
• Participate in the procedure of model changes and release of the first piece, making the required
revisions and completing the records of this process was carried out.
• Make changes and adjustments to the machinery and equipment taking care of the changes and / or
adjustments corresponding to the correct model.
• In each model change, check that the mismatches do not cause variations that cause a nonspecification process and a non-conforming product.
• Check the changes and adjustments taking care of the scrap caused by a mismatch is the minimum
possible.
• Carry out security guards with hand tools, you can weld if the machine requires it.
• Comply with the requirements of the quality management systems (ISOTS) and the environmental
management system (ISO14000) as far as your position is concerned.
• Use the personal protective equipment required for the performance of their work.
• Other activities assigned by your direct manager.
• Participates and provides support related with quality and EHSS systems management,
objectives, targets and programs.
What You Need
• Formal training in TPM, Kaizen and other lean manufacturing tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of PLC systems.
• Knowledge of high and low voltage systems.
• Basic English / Understanding simple verbal and written instructions.
• Basic knowledge in reading electrical and electronic drawings. Mechanical, Hydraulic.
• Management of hand tools, electrical equipment measurement and electrical theory
• Must be able to follow verbal and/or written instructions by company supervisory personnel, Coworkers and vendor representatives.
• Capable of creating and processing work orders within a computerized maintenance-management
system.
• Quick Changeover concept (SMED).
• Knowledge and application of the LOTTO system.
