Position Summary:  

 

Responsible and support of laboratory logistics tasks. 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

 

This position does not have any direct or indirect reports. 

 

Job Responsibilities:  

 

  • Responsible of exports and domestic shipments. (Export documents and pickups) 

  • Update Web System (Tracking number, Tax Regime, HTS, based on compliance instructions.  

  • Maintain an accurate control and inventory of the short-term storage samples and keep a detail track of all pieces that are in the laboratory. 

  • Support on “Check in”, visual inspection and labeling processes of the material received. 

  • Assigning a specific location to material received. 

  • Prepare shipments: packing, weighing, measuring, printing documents, and delivering packages to the different packing companies. 

  • Keep track on daily basis of all the engineering equipment shipments, send/receive, and external testing (when needed). 

  • Responsible to perform other tasks as business needs require or as assigned by management.

  • Education: High school or 2 year Associates Degree or certification program, preferred in logistics. Additional experience can be substituted for education. 

  • Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. 

  • Proven ability to be flexible, prioritize and manage multiple projects, as well as solve problems in a timely manner. 

  • Work requires a considerable variety of fairly steady active physical exertion with some lifting and/or continuous standing or walking.  Work requires regular speed, and high accuracy and adeptness to operate a limited range of equipment.  The employee must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. 

  • English 50% (reading and writing).
