Description & Requirements

  • Prepare for work instruction (WI) ,work flow ,procedure for logistics and warehouse.
  • Develop and analyze logistics performance metrics, such as On-time Delivery, Inventory Accuracy, Picking Efficiency, Lead Time Reduction , Packaging optimization .
  • Plan storage and retrieval operations in the automated warehouse to maximize efficiency.
  • Define inbound & outbound logistics points and optimize internal transport routes.
  • Calculate and allocate/fulfillment packaging capacity for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Analyzing the needs of the product and the user to determine packaging requirements for NPD , transfer product and and for DV parts if parts are built in China
  • Designing packaging materials that meet those needs, taking into account factors such as product safety, cost efficiency, and environmental impact
  • Working closely with product development teams to understand the product specifications and requirements
  • Collaborating with suppliers to source the materials needed for packaging designs ,also estimate packaging cost for PM and sales.
  • Staying current with the latest packaging trends and technologies, and incorporating them into designs when appropriate , Ensuring that all packaging meets regulatory and industry standards
  • Testing packaging to ensure it can withstand various conditions, such as temperature changes, transportation, and storage for shake run and Product Validation (PV) Run
  • Developing prototypes and conducting tests to assess the functionality and durability of new packaging designs for semi finished product packaging
  • Documenting all aspects of the packaging design process for future reference and improvement
  • Submit packaging design for customer approval.
  • Setup service/spare parts in SAP including designing packaging, pulling part number, releasing PI and Packaging BOM
  • Train production/warehouse/logistics employees to use packaging / warehouse equipment on site.
  • Internal audit ISO9001/IATF16949 and auditee for customer audit
