About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AUTOSAR Ethernet Switch Architect to be part of the Ethernet Switch Product Development team at MBRDI.
In this role, you will drive architecture, integration, and design decisions for ETH Switch ECUs, contributing directly to platform-level innovations and the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MBOS). You will work across multiple feature verticals to ensure robust, scalable, and high-quality automotive networking solutions.
What You Will Do
- Participate in ETH Switch ECU integration and architecture discussions, providing technical recommendations
- Act as ETH Switch Architect within the platform team, driving design decisions across multiple domains
- Contribute to the strategic direction of platform components, supporting MBOS initiatives
- Understand ETH Switch requirements and provide technical guidance to ECU development teams
- Orchestrate design alignment across feature verticals to ensure robustness and scalability
- Lead complex issue analysis and resolution, working across cross-functional teams
- Drive AUTOSAR Ethernet stack integration and optimization
- Support debugging, prototyping, and experimentation on large-scale embedded systems
- Ensure adherence to AUTOSAR practices, architecture standards, and methodologies
What You Need to Be Successful
- 9–12 years of experience in AUTOSAR-based embedded systems and automotive networking
- Strong expertise in AUTOSAR architecture and module interactions
- Hands-on experience in AUTOSAR ETH Switch stack integration, including:
- Communication stack configuration (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet) [Autosar JD | Word]
- Strong programming and scripting skills in:
- Embedded C
- CAPL scripting
- Strong experience with:
- CANoe and Vector toolchain
- Deep understanding of communication protocols:
- CAN, LIN, FlexRay
- Automotive Ethernet
- Strong experience working with:
- Microcontrollers
- Large codebases (debugging, prototyping, performance analysis)
- Proven expertise in:
- Embedded system debugging
- Design problem-solving and system optimization
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with multiple AUTOSAR vendor stacks (Vector, Elektrobit)
- Exposure to Marvell Ethernet Switch or similar platforms [Autosar JD | Word]
- Knowledge of ASPICE processes and automotive development lifecycle
- Experience working in cross-geography / supplier-driven environments
