What You Will Do:

  • Mentor/guide a team of software engineering professionals.

  • Communicate frequently with Development, Product Management, and other teams to enable planning, problem-solving, and shipping products.

  • Ensure successful execution and delivery of engineering platform/framework, and continuous improvement of the organization's ability to execute them.

  • Make strategic engineering solution recommendations to the senior staff.

  • Develop and implement the processes, procedures and standards for the review and testing of software development and maintenance.

  • Software and hardware development tools planning recommendations.

  • Work with QA and product teams to develop test plans.

  • Give regular status reports and performance metrics to the department manager.

  • Interact with stakeholders (cross-site engineering teams and product management teams) to understand the requirements.

  • Involved in design, development and peer review and leads-by-example and is hands-on as well.

  • Desire to improve code quality and build highly stable, responsive applications.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or Technology.

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in architecting, designing and implementing complete software solutions.

  • Experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C# and .NET.

  • Track record of strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.

  • Agile software development experience; certification will be a bonus.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals.

  • Ability to be detail-oriented and effectively document code.

  • Demonstrates technical leadership skills.

  • Must be a self-starter and a team player.

Bonus Points if You Have:

  • Any JavaScript library experience.

  • Ability to handle a variety of projects simultaneously.

  • Should be a technical leader who inspires other teammates.

  • Ability to work effectively with other teams.

  • Should have excellent written and verbal skills in English.

  • Experience working with globally distributed team is preferred.

  • Knowledge or experience in audio domain/industry would be an advantage.
