Harman Automotive is looking for a motivated and passionate Leader for its Automotive Engineering Services business to drive its Marketing and Knowledge Management initiatives. The role requires understanding of Harman products and services to represent it in efficient and attractive way in different medium (presentation, document, web page etc.). The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of Automotive business and excellent creative ability to represent our go-to-market strategy in a compelling way in internal and external forums in visual and written form The person should have strong competence on presentation techniques as well as document writing capability as well as stays on top of the latest communication trends – presentation, written and verbal, including AI based accelerated approach.

What You Will Do

Scope: This role is responsible for efficient development, management, maintenance and updating of Presales and Sales collaterals for both internal (AES, Harman) and external consumption. This role is also responsible for supporting Harman AES branding and positioning by developing collaterals and co-owning external and internal marketing activities, Analyst engagement activities, Event / demos / forum participations etc.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Own the key internal engagement collaterals and regularly enhance them in terms of quality of input, representation view. in conjunction with other presales and engineering team members. These documents include (but not limited to) offering and domain collaterals for sales process consumptions - L1 decks, Battlecards, factsheets etc.
  • Engage with other Presales team members to develop the internal / external management presentation documents
  • Engage with the AES organization and drive production and publication of marketing collateral, website, anchoring blogs, events, Explore event, etc.
  • Engage with Delivery and other presales team members to develop key case studies with clear outcome, business goals, key tech challenges faced and resolved, developing theme based case studies (Engg excellence, Account growth, Large program delivery etc.)
  • Engage with Harman Marketing team for delivering Marketing collaterals, driving Analyst engagement support, Key event demos, marketing forum participation etc.
  • Proactively come up with ideas and approaches for higher views of Harman AES website, publications and promotion and engage with Harman marketing team to execute the same

What You Need to Be Successful

  • 8 – 10 years of experience in Marketing activities in an engineering / High-tech company, preferably in Automotive or related sector
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with MBA (preferred)
  • Knowledge of automotive technologies and industry trends will be of added advantage
  • Intelligent, curious with a passion for storytelling.
  • Expert communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation. Specifically, should be very strong in creating attractive, succinct presentation with creative visualization and story-telling approach
  • Should be well-conversant with latest development in written / presenting techniques especially with AI enabled approach
  • Experience working in a matrix, global organization by collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Results and detail-oriented: hold him/herself and others accountable for commitments.
  • Proactive, self-sufficient, and professional, with strong organizational and time management skills.
