About the role

We are looking for a Process Owner in Connectivity team where you will oversee the quality of software components according to automotive standards. Telematics exposes the internal car ecosystem to the Internet: the car becomes an element of the Internet of Things (IoT), offering a new level of access to car’s functionalities and a platform to build additional features in areas such as safety, security, comfort. You will work with concepts like Telematics, 5G and V2X (vehicle-to-everything).

What You Will Do

  • Analyze and assess customer specifications; develop components based on this information.
  • Take care about communication with customer on his domain
  • Plan the features and tickets according with project milestones; creates tasks for the planned features according with Agile methodology
  • Take care about communication between team members and project management
  • The quality of software components is according with standards specified in BMS
  • Create reports for project, local management and customer
  • Define project specific strategy aligned with the standard process for the process in responsibility
  • Identify project specific constraints regarding the corresponding process and document them within project manual. This includes ensuring all project specific process objectives are fulfilled, e.g. customer standards, etc.
  • Document tailoring of the standard process according to tailoring guidelines, addressing the project constraints e.g. tailoring of activities, work products, tools, roles and responsibilities
  • Document project specific process infrastructure and human resource needs within project manual
  • Provide needed guidelines to support the project specific process
  • Identify and schedule process specific milestones within the project milestone schedule
  • Define and establish communication plan required to support the process
  • Define project specific process KPIs and target values
  • Identify process training needs, organize, schedule and track required process trainings for the project team
  • Ensure relevant process work products are tracked within Maturity Gate Task List (MGTL)
  • Monitor and report process KPIs to project management
  • Identify process improvement needs and improve the project specific process
  • Provide improvement proposals for standard process to global engineering process group in the context of continuous improvement

What You Need

  • At least 5+ years of experience as process owner or process expert.
  • Working knowledge of software development processes.
  • Good English skills in spoken and written English.
  • Experience in working with (external) customers/OEMs
  • Self-driven, autonomous and systematic way of working and able to help other achieve this
  • Knowledge in agile software development methods (e.g. V-Model, ASPICE, etc.)
  • Knowledge of agile methods and frameworks (SAFe) is an advantage.
