About the Role
The role involves the coordination and supervision of all activities within the Assembly area, as well as overseeing production plans with a focus on quantity, lead time, productivity, and quality. It includes coordinating and supervising new product ramp‑ups and process installations, covering deadlines, technology and personnel aspects. The position is responsible for leading, planning and executing projects, and participating in the preparation of decisions related to product, process and work‑method releases, including control exceptions such as deviation permits and change requests. Additionally, it involves contributing to the relocation of projects and existing products or processes to Pécs, driving continuous improvement across all related processes, and supporting plant‑wide initiatives. The role also includes initiating preventive and corrective actions connected to troubleshooting and error prevention.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain and further develop the daily and weekly production reporting system
- Coordinate, lead and supervise the personnel required for meeting production plans
- Execute process improvements and CI actions in production
- Participate in planning, implementation and analysis of production processes (FMEA, MFU/PFU, SPC)
- Carry out and supervise environmental tasks related to work activities
- Work in accordance with 5S rules and ensure compliance
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety, accident prevention, fire protection, environmental protection, electrical safety and ESD regulations
- Ensure compliance with energy efficiency regulations
- Perform other role‑related tasks assigned by the superior
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in production planning
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production and/or quality management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in leading and managing people
- University degree
- English language skills at a communicative level
- User‑level computer skills (MS Office)
- Knowledge of 8D, APQP, FMEA, CP, SPC, Pareto
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Confident manner, leadership skills
- Proactive, cooperative personality
- Independent, constructive work approach, flexibility, ability to work under pressure
Bonus Points if You Have:
- Experience in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives
- Experience applying problem‑solving methodologies
- Experience in process transfer or product relocation projects
- Experience in new product ramp‑up or production process implementation
- Strong capability to lead cross‑functional project teams
- Experience working in an assembly or manufacturing environment with strict quality standards
