About the Role
As Operations technician, you will be responsible for the results in production area of the Key Process Indicators (KPI): Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Must understand the philosophy of HPS (Continuous Improvement). Develop Harman skills and competences in employees. Responsible of the data analysis, records and relevant information from Operations, as well responsible for WIP Inventory Control into Material Operations location and SAP.
What You Will Do
- Supervises the activities of the team members
- Initiate actions or problem solving techniques to prevent the occurrence of any non-compliance o non conformances (SQDC).
- Assure KPIs are on track for SQDC
- Meet the requirements of the Quality Management System.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions for SQDC issues through established communication channels.
- Comply with quality program and Production plan, as well their production standards: Units per hour (UPH).
- Ensure the completion of your daily standard work
- Responsible for maintaining 5´s in work areas by shift (cleaning routine to 5´s audits)
- Assure that change model is executed correctly, as well verify the participation of their teams, has ready the tooling, fixtures in the area and the participation of a CFT for the correct execution of change model.
- Track scrap metrics by shift
- Identify and implement improvements to reduce waste and increase work efficiency
- Execute handover meeting with their partners from the next shift before shift ends.
- RAW-WIP inventory control, use of SAP and cycle counting methods.
- Data analysis for Operations: Records, KPI, relevant information. Use of digitalization and databases.
- Assure that Standard documents for your process is in place and according to Quality Management System (VJI, Spec, PCP, PFMEA)
- Execute Layer process audit, 2nd layer. (LPA)
- Support in the training and development for employees – production activities/ processes
- Assure that SAA and SC requirements are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 14001 and IATF 16949
What You Need to Be Successful
- At least 6 months of experience with manufacturing environment
- Demonstrable knowledge of production tools (MPS, Problem solving, HC distribution)
- Proficiency in FOH, DVO and DL efficiency
- Basic financial experience
- Production background in a high mix environment
- SAP/ MRP system experience
- High school or bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Administration)

- Experience working with digitalization and CI tools
- Train for trainer tools
