Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data pipelines, ETL processes, and BI reports.

  • Validate data accuracy, transformations, and business rules across data sources (SQL Server, Azure Synapse, ADF, Databricks, etc.).

  • Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems to ensure integrity and quality.

  • Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of data workflows and dashboards (Power BI, SSRS, etc.).

  • Identify, log, and track defects and issues using Azure DevOps or similar tools.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to ensure end-to-end quality assurance.

  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes.

  • Automate data validation and regression testing using Python, PySpark, or SQL-based scripts (preferred).

  • Ensure adherence to QA standards, documentation, and release readiness processes.
