About the Role:
The Retail Marketing Lead will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and executing all marketing activities for HARMAN Professional Solutions’ MI Retail brands across EMEA. Reporting to the Regional Marketing Team Lead and Market Manager, you will partner closely with Retail and Sales leadership to drive the commercial success of the category. The ideal candidate must have experience in digital marketing, online activations, and retail engagement, and be a hard-working, results-driven marketer with a strong data-led mindset, using insights and performance metrics to inform strategy and optimize campaigns that deliver impactful and measurable results. The successful candidate will be passionate about marketing and the tangible business results it can deliver. You will be a proactive self-starter, comfortable navigating a fast-paced and evolving environment, and able to balance strategic thinking with strong execution.
Success in this role will require building strong cross-functional partnerships across all teams, such as Sales, Business Development, Global Marketing, Product Segments, Technical Services, Finance, and external agencies, as well as cultivating strong retailer relationships to deliver impactful, commercially focused marketing initiatives that drive both brand growth and measurable business outcomes.
What You Will Do:
- Drive Retail Adoption & Market Presence - You will own the regional marketing vision and execution to accelerate brand adoption, awareness, and engagement with distribution partners and key retailers across EMEA.
- Lead regional adoption of global marketing strategies, assets, and new product introductions, ensuring they are localized, activated, and scaled for maximum market impact.
- Develop and deploy retailer toolkits and POS assets in partnership with distribution to ensure the brand is visible and impactful across all key retail locations.
- Shape regional campaigns including product reviews, in-store activations, experiential events, and digital initiatives to maximize brand engagement and customer impact.
- Share insights and best practices to enable distribution partners, strengthen retailer execution, and enhance brand presence both in-store and online.
- Create Consumer Excitement - Our iconic brands—including JBL Professional and AKG—are trusted by the world’s most influential creators and recognized with multiple technical Grammy® Awards. You will steward these brand legacies while expanding relevance with emerging creator segments and evolving market dynamics.
- Support with the regional strategy for engaging shoppers through retail, e‑commerce, and distribution partners using compelling storytelling, digital experiences, merchandising, and promotional programs.
- Ensure regional creative execution reflects cultural relevance while maintaining alignment with global brand standards.
- Influence retail presence and performance through close partnership with sales, driving expanded assortments, merchandising impact, and brand preference.
- Lead regional product launch and sustaining strategies that build awareness, excitement, and measurable sell‑through.
- Partner with group marketing teams to integrate digital, social, and influencer marketing into cohesive regional programs.
- Community & Retail Campaign Leadership – You will lead a high-performing retail marketing operation delivering measurable growth across EMEA through community-driven digital campaigns, co-branded retailer initiatives, and high-impact content.
- Own the regional marketing strategy, translating global priorities into actionable retail plans and campaigns that drive results.
- Lead community-focused digital campaigns, leveraging high-impact content, advocates, and UGC to boost engagement and brand growth.
- Drive go-to-market initiatives across in-store, digital, e-commerce, events, and co-branded retailer campaigns.
- Collaborate with retailers, distributors, and key partners to strengthen execution and maximize brand presence.
- Provide oversight for globally aligned, locally executed marketing materials, ensuring consistency, relevance, and commercial impact.
- Define frameworks for retail partnerships and co-branded campaigns, aligning with brand values and business priorities.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with e-commerce marketing, social campaigns, and digital retail platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital content strategy, social media platforms, and UGC/advocate-driven campaigns.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale brand campaigns, retail campaigns, co-branded activations, and in-store promotions.
- Familiarity with POS assets, merchandising, and trade marketing programs across multiple markets.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate insights into operational and financial outcomes.
- Ability to resolve complex business challenges and contribute to long-term strategic plans.
- Collaborative, results-driven, and able to multitask in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Passionate about marketing and delivering measurable business impact across retail and digital channels.
- Experience in retail, consumer electronics, or professional audio environments is highly desirable but not essential.
