Description & Requirements

About the Role

We are looking for a Release Engineer who can help us deliver high-quality software products to our customers. You will be responsible for managing the build, release, and deployment processes across multiple environments and platforms. You will also collaborate with the development, testing, and operations teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of software releases.


What You Will Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain the build and release pipelines using various tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.
  • Automate and optimize the build, test, and deployment processes to ensure fast and reliable delivery of software products,
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the build and release processes,
  • Monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and security of the software products,
  • Document and communicate the release status, plans, and best practices to the stakeholders,
  • Research and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve the DevOps practices,
  • Support writing and testing installers of our desktop apps.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field,
  • 3+ years of experience as a Release Engineer or similar role in a DevOps environment,
  • Strong knowledge of Windows-based systems administration and scripting,
  • Proficient in using various configuration management, continuous integration, and continuous deployment tools,
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as Azure DevOps,
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker,
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitHub,
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python,
  • Familiarity with Linux-based systems administration and scripting,
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills,
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

What is Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Kubernetes,
  • Experience with Mac OS.
