About the Role
An established Automotive Service Practice is looking for skilled Automotive Infotainment Test Engineer for Android/QNX platform based IVI/Cluster testing on bench and vehicle.
In your work, you will be involved in multiple infotainment domain testing including BT, Wifi, USB, Audio, Media, Car Play, Android Auto, Navigation, Speech, OTA, HMI applications for IVI and Cluster, etc on bench and vehicle. You have to run existing test cases, develop new test cases, reproduce customer reports defects on bench/vehicle, collect necessary logs asked by development team, coordinate with customer’s engineering domain managers to understand the testing needs and execute those tasks.
What You Will Do
Lead versatile teams of test engineers to deliver top quality customer projects
Work with partners and customers all over the world and manage on-site collaboration between testing and development teams.
Effectively communicate and collaborate on daily basis with colleagues and stakeholders, both remotely and on-site.
Participate in all testing stages – from test design to test execution and reporting.
Participate in requirements, testing related discussion with client and take decision as needed.
Ensue quality aspects of complete product as per organizational norms.
Manage internal and external stakeholders communications and negotiations.
What You Need to Be Successful
Experience in Automotive Infotainment testing.
Experience in Embedded Concepts, Linux/Android OS, RTOS Concepts.
At least 5 years of experience in Infotainment SW Testing
At least 1 year experience in vehicle testing in USA
BTech/BE in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or in related topics
Experience in using tools such CANoe, PCAN.
Experience in Tracking(Jira, RTC, Bugzilla) tools
Experience with scripting tools.
A quick learner, ready to work in a fast paced, multidisciplinary environment and tools
Ability to work independently in parallel collaborate with other technical teams and customer, both remotely and on-site
Willing to work on time critical projects.
Good English communication is mandatory
