About the Role
We are looking for a DSP engineer with strong experience in audio signal processing, along with excellent Python development and test automation skills. You will work on audio algorithm development, validation, and automation for next‑generation automotive audio systems.
What You Will Do
Design, implement, and validate audio DSP algorithms including filters, EQ, dynamics, and spatial audio.
Develop Python-based tools, scripts, and automation frameworks to test audio features and DSP blocks.
Automate audio measurements and validation workflows using audio APIs and tools such as Audio Precision (APx).
Support MATLAB/Python algorithm prototyping and integrate algorithms into embedded platforms.
Collaborate with software, system, and audio teams to ensure DSP components meet performance and quality requirements.
Troubleshoot audio issues and support system-level and API-level validation.
Maintain documentation in compliance with ASPICE/ISO processes.
Demonstrate extensive experience in both white-box and black-box testing, including analysis of user requirements to develop functional test cases.
What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong background in digital signal processing, specifically audio DSP.
4–7 years of experience in audio or DSP algorithm development.
Proficiency in Python development (OOP, scripting, automation).
Experience in audio measurement, signal analysis, and working with audio APIs or Python audio libraries.
Good knowledge of MATLAB for algorithm modeling.
Understanding of embedded audio systems and basic experience with C/C++ is required.
Bonus Points if You Have
Exposure to DSPs such as ADI SHARC or similar platforms.
Experience with Audio Precision APx automation.
Knowledge of automation frameworks (pytest, Robot, or custom Python tools).
Familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, and ASPICE processes.
Experience with Linux-based embedded audio systems.
