About the Role
Join an innovative automotive engineering team where you will play a key role in shaping next-generation Camera and Vision systems. As a DevOps Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for building and optimizing automation solutions and CI/CD pipelines across embedded platforms such as Linux, QNX, and Android.
This role focuses on enabling seamless integration, testing, and release of embedded software, ensuring high-quality and efficient delivery for automotive vision systems.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools for embedded camera and vision systems
- Build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines for reliable and continuous software delivery
- Develop and integrate automated test suites to ensure software quality, performance, and functional correctness
- Support performance profiling and optimization of embedded systems running on Linux, QNX, and Android
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to analyze and clarify system requirements
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and release cycles
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, and automation issues across platforms
- Document automation frameworks, processes, and test strategies for maintainability and scalability
- Contribute to improving DevOps practices, automation efficiency, and CI/CD processes
What You Need to Be Successful
Embedded Systems & Platforms
- Solid understanding of embedded systems and operating systems such as Linux, QNX, and Android
- Exposure to build, deployment, and debugging in embedded environments
Automation & Scripting
- Strong proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages
- Experience in developing automation tools and scripts
CI/CD & Cloud
- Basic to intermediate experience in CI/CD pipeline development
- Hands-on exposure to tools/platforms such as:
- GitLab CI/CD
- AWS / GCP (basic exposure)
- Understanding of build, integration, and release workflows
Testing & Validation
- Knowledge of testing methodologies for embedded systems
- Exposure to test automation and validation processes
Software Engineering Fundamentals
- Good understanding of software design principles and system architecture
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Pytest, or GTest
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum / SAFe development environments
- Familiarity with camera/vision systems or infotainment domain
- Knowledge of Generative AI applications in CI/CD or test automation
- Experience working with cross-functional or supplier teams
What Makes You Eligible
- 0–3 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or automation in embedded environments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
- Strong foundation in embedded systems, scripting, and automation
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong learning mindset with interest in automotive systems and DevOps automation
