About the Role

We are looking for an experienced GitLab CI/CD Engineer with strong Python expertise to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines. The role involves driving automation, improving development workflows, and ensuring reliable and efficient software delivery across teams.

What You Will Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, tooling, and workflow optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve CI/CD efficiency and developer productivity
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve pipeline and automation issues
  • Drive best practices for CI/CD, automation, and DevOps processes
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance build, test, and deployment strategies

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks, test automation, and TDD practices
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

What Makes You Eligible

  • 6–9 years of experience in CI/CD, DevOps, and Python development
  • Strong hands-on expertise in GitLab CI/CD (pipelines, runners, YAML)
  • Solid Python programming skills for automation and tooling
  • Experience working with DevOps tools, practices, and workflows
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams
