About the Role

This role will be part of a team named SW that provides all the necessary support to the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME – “Production”) teams working in our factories, helping them produce at mass-scale all the HW samples planned throughout the lifetime of a project, by ensuring the delivery of a Production SW package.

 

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate closely with and provide remote and on-site support to the AME teams and OEM representatives

  • Develop SW (C and Python) according to the allocated workpackages

  • Create and maintain design documentation for the necessary deliveries, tools and setups used by the SW Industrialisation team

  • Act according to the standards and best practices of the automotive industry and in-vehicle applications

What You Need to Be Successful

  • University degree, preferably Ba Sc or MSc degree in Computer Science or other relevant (IT-related) specialisations

  • Basic coding skills in C and Python, especially in the area of Linux system programming

  • Proficient with version control, build and code review systems

  • Good critical thinking and attention to detail, problem-solving attitude, and able to process and summarise large amounts of information correctly

  • Fast learner, self-motivated, results-driven, passionate about technology

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Experience with Ethernet and serial programming interfaces

  • Experience with UML-based modelling

  • Experience with CI/CD systems (preferably Jenkins, Bamboo)

What Makes You Eligible

  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to speak clearly and fluently during technical meetings

  • Availability to work flexibly and on-demand both from the office and remotely

  • Willingness to travel (up to 20% of time), depending on project needs
