About the Role
Develops and manages detailed production schedules in an electronics manufacturing environment, ensuring alignment with customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity. Coordinates the availability of components, materials, and labor while optimizing workflows to minimize downtime and maximize throughput. Collaborates closely with engineering, procurement, quality, and operations teams to resolve scheduling conflicts, address supply chain disruptions, and maintain on-time delivery.
What You Will Do
- Ensure the availability of critical electronic components to avoid production delays.
- Use SAP to manage and update production schedules.
- Monitor real-time production data and adjust schedules as needed.
- Communicate effectively with engineering, procurement, quality, and logistics teams.
- Make weekly planning orders to the supplier base according to the current customer demand.
- Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through established communication channels.
- Assure a high level of data and transactional integrity in the ERP system to achieve high levels of inventory accuracy.
- Oversee production materials planning cycles to achieve appropriate levels of inventory.
- Contribute to minimizing freight and premium freight services through proper planning processes.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques related to material handling and control.
- Support product changes and inventory levels to ensure minimal obsolescence.
- And other activities assigned by the Sr. Materials Planner.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Engineering, International Business, Finance, or Administration Degree.
- 5 years of production scheduling experience.
- English 90%, Advanced English level (reading and writing that allow fluid presentations).
- High proficiency with SAP ERP.
