About the Role
As a User Experience Game Designer, you will contribute to the design and development of new in-cabin user experiences utilizing our Ai-powered VPA Avatar system—ranging from storyboards to prototyping and wireframes to mood boards and Ui development. This project will use the various Harman Automotive technologies to craft all-new experiences to delight and simplify the driver and passengers. You will collaborate with the team to support various stages of development. In this role, you will report to the Ui/UX Manager.

Documents optimal visuals or task flows based on user needs
Works within a team to deliver aspects of a project or initiative
Solves design problems at the function or task level
Familiar with best practices for common design problems
Developing skill for communicating rationale to team members using customer, business, or competitive insights
Understands technical constraints of solutions
Learning user centered research and customer centric design processes
What You Need to Be Successful
Storytelling capabilities
Familiar with Figma
Can mock-up quick prototypes
Has a 3D modelling experience
Can visually communicate future interactions and experiences with animations
Bonus Points if You Have
Unity software development skills
What Makes You Eligible
Must be currently enrolled in a related Bachelor's Degree program or higher at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
Be willing to work in an office in Novi, Michigan.
Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work.
Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
Must provide full work availability from May 18, 2026 through August 7, 2026 and be able to work 40 hours per week

Sophomore: $23.00
Junior: $25.00
Senior: $27.00
Master: $32.00
Doct: $38.00
Dependent on the internship offered, pay is based on factors, including without limitation, the applicant's level of education and business need.
