About the Role

Analyze and prepare on time all Taxes reports for Harman de Mexico as well as Harman International Mexico for all Mexico’s authorities, besides to coordinate all internal & external audits.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare and examine annual reports Harman de Mexico & Harman International Mexico
  • Annual  income tax returns
  • Tax planning on  annual basis
  • INEGI monthly reports
  • Minister of Economy quarterly report Harman de Mexico
  • Minister of Economy  annual renewal to the National Register of Foreign Investment
  • (RNIE) Harman de Mexico
  • Coordinate with government agencies and tax audits for Harman de Mexico and Harman International Mexico
  • Corporate Internal audits
  • External audit from Mexican government office SAT (Federal Tax Administration)
  • External audit from State government office (State Tax administration)
  • Provide information for external audit from Social Security office External audit from financial consultants
  • Maintaining tax returns requirements Harman de Mexico and Harman International Mexico
  • Prepare tax basis monthly for each entity
  • DIOT report basis cash flow monthly on Value Added Tax (VAT) report for each entity
  • Favorable balance due to duties and tax incentives
  • Update the file for the taxpayer in the SAT (Tax Administration office)
  • Electronic notifications trough the tributary mailbox
  • Review on the SAT page the company compliance record
  • Digital certifications as required by the Company
  • Tax compensations
  • Electronic accounting Mexico prepares and examine records Harman de Mexico and Harman International Mexico
  • Elaboration trial balance monthly bases
  • Elaboration chart of accounts SAT
  • Update all information in SAT (Tax Administration office)
  • Follow up of information
  • Ensure meets SOX initiatives
  • Other projects as assigned
  • Participates and provides support related with quality and EHSS systems management, objectives, targets and programs.
  • Elaboration invoices for maquiladora operations and scrap
  • Support Compliance activities

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Leadership

  • Accounting School
  • Experience 3 years working in taxes
  • English 75%
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar
  • Keep current on new developments in tax law and regulations
  • Customer specific requirements (applicable)

  • Computer knowledge
  • Analytical
  • SAP experience
  • Mexican public accountant certificate
  • Knowledge in ISO/TS 1649 and ISO 14001 preferred
  • Knowledge in General legal and Taxes (Mexico)
  • 3 years of prior experience in industrial manufacturing environment
  • Must be focus an continuous improvement methods
  • Demands effort to analyze , diagnose and plan
  • Take advance and important decisions
  • Willingness to travel
