About the Role
Ensure monitoring of the metrology area activities under your responsibility.

What You Will Do
•    5 at the workstation
•    Management of standard measurement and validation instruments and reference equipment.
•    Temperature review and control (Daily Monitoring).
•    Follow-up on dimensional reports for current and new projects.
•    Checking fixture dimensions as well as Good Finish.
•    Dimensional analysis: relationship between geometric controls and critical dimensions.
•    Support with metrology activities related to PPAP, new releases, and production.
•    Perform GR&R studies by attributes and variables.
•    Continuous improvement, development, and/or monitoring of metrology area procedures.
•    Support with work activities assigned by the supervisor.
•    Participates in and provides support related to the management, objectives, goals, and programs of quality and metrology systems.
•    Support in
•    Use of CMMs (creation of programs with MCOSMOS software, use of Mitutoyo machines)
•    Create PowerPoint presentations to follow up on dimensional issues.
•    Use of checking fixture, optical comparator, caliper, micrometer and other measuring equipment.

What You Need to Be Successful

•    High School
•    30% English.
•    GD&T
•    Problem-solving 8 days
•    CMM (MCOSMOS software, Mitutoyo machine)
•    Knowledge of programming with MCOSMOS software 
•    MSA (R&R study by attributes)
