About the Role:

Responsible for the development, updating and support of applications used by the Operations area (Engineering and Production) of Harman Querétaro and implemented by the Software Development Engineering area.


What You Will Do:

  • Develop, update, and support applications used by the Operations department at Harman Querétaro.
  • Report progress and estimate development times for the activities under your responsibility.
  • Basic database administration
  • Development and support of desktop applications with .NET
  • Development and support of web-based applications
  • Version control of source code for multiple projects
  • Peer code review and maintenance of the programming standards in the department
  • Support for the infrastructure of applications developed by the department
  • Other activities assigned by the Senior Development Engineer

  • Studies in computer systems, software development, computer science or similar
  • Development of web-based applications using PHP
  • Knowledge of relational databases
  • Knowledge of desktop application development
  • Knowledge of software life cycle and flowchart design
  • Git and Git Flow knowledge
  • Usage of Microsoft Office

  • Development of web-based applications using PHP frameworks (Symfony)
  • Knowledge of Front-End development (Javascript, JQuery)

  • General knowledge of data visualization tools (PowerBI, Qlik Sense, Grafana)
  • Knowledge of databases using MySQL and/or SQL Server
  • Knowledge of desktop application development using .NET (VB or C#)
