What You Will Do

  • Preparation of various European VAT filings (monthly/quarterly) and respective EC sales lists.
  • In case of VAT liability ensure that liabilities are paid on time.
  • Reconciliation of GL VAT accounts in SAP and VAT current accounts and respective communication with SSC GL team in HU and India.
  • Work with VAT manager on review of business transactions for VAT treatment and address necessary changes.
  • Work with finance team and external advisors regarding communication with European tax authorities on VAT topics and support VAT audits of the European entities.
  • Monitoring postings in SAP from VAT perspective.
  • Support and work with the VAT Manager on ongoing day to day VAT compliance work and projects.

 

What You Need to Be Successful

  • 3 to 5 years experience on VAT field
  • Experience in preparation and filing VAT returns
  • SAP knowledge (FI/CO, PS)
  • English speaking
  • College/university degree
