About the Role

As a Production Planner, your main responsibilities include analyzing customer demands and creating daily and weekly production schedules that align with these requirements. You will consider the capacities, staffing, and every other factors of manufacturing cells to develop short- and long-term plans, taking into account available raw materials and resources. Continuous communication with other departments is essential, as it ensures smooth coordination across the organization. You will be involved in scheduling deliveries, optimizing inventory levels of semi-finished and finished products, and maintaining the settings of the material master data to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.

What You Will Do

  • Planning production logistics (daily plan, mid-term plan, production capacity planning)
  • Scheduling deliveries according to customer demand
  • Setting and continuously maintaining disposition data for semi-finished and finished products (SAP Dispo 1-4)
  • Maintaining RR master data in SAP
  • Logistical handling of “0” series tasks
  • Maintaining open orders
  • Analyzing delivery delays
  • Assisting in successful inventory execution
  • Maintaining inventory of semi-finished and finished products
  • Performing other tasks related to the position as assigned by the supervisor
  • Working in accordance with the company's current “5S” rules
  • Complying with and/or enforcing occupational safety, accident prevention, fire protection, environmental protection, electrical safety, and ESD regulations

What You Need to Be Successful

  • At least secondary education
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or materials management
  • Knowledge of PC and MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • At least communications level of English and/or German
  • Experience with an integrated enterprise resource planning system (preferably SAP)
